There is some Weird Science that goes on in the livestock industry. But back in the 80s, Weird Science was a hit movie with a hot chick in it. Remember her, hunh…yep, Kelly LeBrock. There were a bunch of other 80s movies that have become somewhat obscure, but I still stop the channel surfing when I see these flicks on the tube. Some were huge hits. Some, not so much. <\/p>\n

Bull Durham and Major League came out in the 80s. <\/p>\n
Sure, we all remember Back to the Future but what about Michael J. Fox in TeenWolf and the Secret of My Success (Ohhh, yeahh!!) <\/p>\n

Spaceballs <\/span>“May the schwartz be with you.”<\/p>\n Beverly Hills Cop<\/p>\n Willow<\/p>\n Honey, I shrunk the kids<\/p>\n Strange Brew–“Eh, Hoser.”<\/p>\n Youngblood–hockey movie that had Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe and Keanu Reeves. I remember parts of this movie vividly.<\/p>\n The Outsiders<\/p>\n Young Guns<\/p>\n Karate Kid–iconic–Who doesn’t remember Wax on-Wax off?<\/p>\n Conan the Barbarian & Terminator made the Arnold a household name. <\/p>\n First Blood–(very few remember the name of the movie but most remember the name of the main character in this series–Rambo)<\/p>\n No Way Out<\/p>\n The Abyss<\/p>\n Rocky IV<\/p>\n Spies Like Us–Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd–pretty good flick where the heroes saved the world. <\/p>\n Police Academy–remember the dude that made all of the sounds. <\/p>\n See No Evil, Hear No Evil & Stir Crazy–Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder. Of course, Gene Wilder’s best two parts were in Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles.<\/p>\n Back to School–Rodney Dangerfield, “Oh?! You’re an English lit. major. Maybe you can help me straighten out my Longfellow.”<\/p>\n World According to Garp–way twisted Robin Williams movie that I like, a lot. <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Caveman–Absolute retarded movie that always puts me in a good mood. However, if you’re going to name your daughter Launa, shoudn’t her twin be named either Attuk or Tonda?<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Yes, I know that there wasn’t much to learn from reading this blog. I just hope that as you read through it, you remembered some parts of these movies and cracked a smile. I even laughed out loud just typing several of these titles. Nostalgia is not a bad thing. I need to go watch Rocky IV. That movie makes me want to work out.
