\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 For starters, thank you to all that asked questions, inquired, talked about, bid and\/or bought on the final Kelln Livestock online sale.\u00a0 Us–Tammy, Kela, Duke and myself–the Kelln Klan, along with the Milligan’s held the first ever online goat sale in 2006.\u00a0 We have watched and participated as the stock show world’s purchasing habits changed and changed again.\u00a0 The kids have moved on.\u00a0 Tammy is glad to see the end.\u00a0 And as for me, she knows me well and we both know that I am not done with show stock.\u00a0 I just don’t want to raise them anymore.\u00a0 As for online sales, we all now know that the bidding doesn’t start until it is in “extended” time.\u00a0 \u00a0We all know that a wicked picture sells.\u00a0 We also have all been burnt a bit from not doing more homework.\u00a0 As always, anybody that called me got the true and accurate description of each buck.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 My goal for this sale was that all of the bucks got a bid.\u00a0 Mentally, I was done.\u00a0 There comes a time when a damn $ nor the pursuit of a banner doesn’t move the dial.\u00a0 That’s it.\u00a0 Time to move on to the next chapter.\u00a0 \u00a0 These bucks never had an empty feeder or missed a haying. (obivously).\u00a0 Their hooves were properly trimmed and they were wormed and vaccinated in a timely fashion.\u00a0 A couple of them got to see Live Action.\u00a0 The others played cornhole with each other.\u00a0 I didn’t spend as much time prepping for pics and it showed.\u00a0 Yet, we let the videos tell the stories.\u00a0 Nothing to hide.\u00a0 These animals were not pets nor are they show ponies.\u00a0 They were raised to be bucks and that they are.\u00a0 Now, it’s up to their new owners to properly mate them to the right kind of doe.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 To the new owners of lots 1 & 2.\u00a0 Those goats are bad ass!!!\u00a0 I’ve been more miles than most and that pair is wicked good.\u00a0 Yes, some of the others are good but not as good as those two.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 As for me in the goat world or this blog—not done–yet.\u00a0 But there is a transition coming.\u00a0 Krimeny!\u00a0 The blog was supposed to die a year ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In all honesty, my most hated blog post is blasting the Tulsa wether judge a year or so ago.\u00a0 There are parts of me that wish that I hadn’t written any of it.\u00a0 Yet, I had to write it as it was such a blatant and redundant crime against livestock evaluation.\u00a0 \u00a0And as a result, that same damn post is one of my favorites.\u00a0 I hope that crooked POS never judges a show of any kind again.\u00a0 Most never get a chance to judge a big show.\u00a0 He was given two shots and he shoved his own thumb up his own rear twice.\u00a0 If I had to bet, he will get another chance.\u00a0 Thus, the story of the stock show world.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Whew!\u00a0 I probably ought to delete the previous paragraph.\u00a0 But I won’t.\u00a0 F all of you that enable the crooked shenanigans.\u00a0 Defiance to the wrong till the end!\u00a0 I’m right.\u00a0 I know it.\u00a0 And so do you.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
I have no fear.\u00a0 I am no longer a breeder, a show parent, a helper–I am just an ag teacher.\u00a0 I have a lot of knowledge of how this game is played and how it is supposed to be played.\u00a0 I am near to the pulse of this game.\u00a0 And I have no fear.\u00a0 Let’s play this game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
