{"id":4738,"date":"2022-04-06T03:51:17","date_gmt":"2022-04-06T03:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/?p=4738"},"modified":"2022-04-06T04:16:36","modified_gmt":"2022-04-06T04:16:36","slug":"near","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/site\/near\/","title":{"rendered":"Near"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 For starters, thank you to all that asked questions, inquired, talked about, bid and\/or bought on the final Kelln Livestock online sale.\u00a0 Us&#8211;Tammy, Kela, Duke and myself&#8211;the Kelln Klan, along with the Milligan&#8217;s held the first ever online goat sale in 2006.\u00a0 We have watched and participated as the stock show world&#8217;s purchasing habits changed and changed again.\u00a0 The kids have moved on.\u00a0 Tammy is glad to see the end.\u00a0 And as for me, she knows me well and we both know that I am not done with show stock.\u00a0 I just don&#8217;t want to raise them anymore.\u00a0 As for online sales, we all now know that the bidding doesn&#8217;t start until it is in &#8220;extended&#8221; time.\u00a0 \u00a0We all know that a wicked picture sells.\u00a0 We also have all been burnt a bit from not doing more homework.\u00a0 As always, anybody that called me got the true and accurate description of each buck.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 My goal for this sale was that all of the bucks got a bid.\u00a0 Mentally, I was done.\u00a0 There comes a time when a damn $ nor the pursuit of a banner doesn&#8217;t move the dial.\u00a0 That&#8217;s it.\u00a0 Time to move on to the next chapter.\u00a0 \u00a0 These bucks never had an empty feeder or missed a haying.
