\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 No, I’m not talking about me.\u00a0 Who is the coolest singer of all time?\u00a0 Male or female.\u00a0 Pop, rock, country, jazz, whatever.\u00a0 Seriously….name em!<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Let’s get a couple out of the way.\u00a0 We are not going to list Madonna or Lady Gaga.\u00a0 Although both are extremely talented and have had some really cool moments, let’s be real here.\u00a0 They just have some baggage that keeps me from putting them at the top of any list.\u00a0 Axl Rose & Michael Jackson also fall into this category.\u00a0 I still remember the concert when Axl came out wearing a kilt and a Mean Machine jersey.\u00a0 Wicked Cool!<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Robert Plant–no!!\u00a0 \u00a0On stage, he forgot the words to “Stairway to Heaven”.\u00a0 I don’t care what drugs you can afford, you don’t forget the words to a song like that.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Tina Turner–She’s in the rock Hall of Fame twice.\u00a0 Way cool.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Adele–this one may be the coolest of all time.\u00a0 Probably the best female singer of all time.\u00a0 I\/we need to see her live.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Neil Diamond–It isn’t his looks.\u00a0 He isn’t the best singer but he brings the cool.\u00a0 Timeless.\u00a0 I can listen to a lot of his songs.\u00a0 Especially when tired and driving.\u00a0 So cool that you just keep singing along and the miles\/hours fade away.\u00a0 I won’t argue if you want to put him # 1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stevie Wonder–Make some jokes but this dude brought cool and he didn’t even know what cool looked like.\u00a0 I like listening to a some Stevie Wonder.\u00a0 A lot of big name bands have covered Stevie’s songs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Steven Tyler–Watch him in concert.\u00a0 You won’t argue that this dude has a cool swagger.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
David Lee Roth–I won’t say that he was the “best” front-man for Van Halen but he was dang sure the coolest.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Keith Whitley–this is one of my favorite voices.\u00a0 Country, yes.\u00a0 But he could sing the Penny News and make it sound.\u00a0 Too bad he had to climb into a bottle and die.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Randy Travis–This is the sound of country music.\u00a0 Garth and King George say so as well.\u00a0 So smooth and so cool.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Freddie Mercury–maybe, arguably the coolest singer ever.\u00a0 This dude could bring it.\u00a0 Pretty good band that wrote and played behind him.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
George–King of Cool.\u00a0 Won’t argue.\u00a0 He has the best song writers.\u00a0 And he has never changed.\u00a0 From the early 80s to now.\u00a0 Same stage presence, voice and delivery.\u00a0 And it is always good.<\/p>\n
Garth–Country, sure.\u00a0 Rock, kind of.\u00a0 Pop.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Cool.\u00a0 Always.\u00a0 He gives the coolest interviews and always give thanks to the predecessors.\u00a0 He is a music fan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rat Pack–\u00a0 Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and others.\u00a0 Let’s be real.\u00a0 Those two were the coolest.\u00a0 Talented and cool.\u00a0 Timeless.\u00a0 I’ve probably written on here about it before….but Dean & Frank’s burger recipes are wicked cool.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Elvis Presley–#1.\u00a0 No discussion.\u00a0 He paved the way for every artist\/group\/whatever.\u00a0 G.O.A.T.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Rank em as you see them.\u00a0 But Elvis is always #1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
