Well, I have been sick but not for the past couple of weeks.\u00a0 I was just sick of getting on here and typing.\u00a0 But, I’m back.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Sunday evening found me feeling a bit achy.\u00a0 I wasn’t feeling 100%.\u00a0 I didn’t have a temp and I didn’t have any gut problems.\u00a0 Just achy and lethargic.\u00a0 Tammy had cooked fajitas and I didn’t eat.\u00a0 My appetite was gone for over 24 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Monday morning found me in the same shape.\u00a0 Achy, tired and otherwise fine.\u00a0 I had my smell and taste.\u00a0 Once again, no temp and no respiratory problems.\u00a0 Pre-pandemic me would not have thought of missing work.\u00a0 I was good enough to go.\u00a0 But due to the current social climate, I did not go to school.\u00a0 I was kind of proud that I wasn’t sure of the protocol for “calling in sick”.\u00a0 However, I did go into school from 6 am to 7:30 before anybody else was there.\u00a0 I left instructions for the kids.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The Dragon Lady was convinced that I had covid.\u00a0 I assured her that I did not.\u00a0 Just to be sure, she brought home a covid test.\u00a0 I told her that I wasn’t going to take it.\u00a0 But then, I thought about the fact that if I didn’t have a negative test that I had to lay out for 10 days.\u00a0 So, I jammed that long damn q-tip into the upper reaches of my nostril.\u00a0 Sack of monkey crap!!!\u00a0 Yes, I brought tears to my own eyes.\u00a0 I wanted to make dang sure that there was a good sample.\u00a0 And then we waited.\u00a0 Guess who was right?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
This guy!\u00a0 \u00a0Negative covid test.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
But just to be safe and because I guess it is the appropriate thing to do in these times, I stayed home from work on Tuesday as well.\u00a0 I did get a bunch of computer related stuff done.\u00a0 The weather was cold and misty so I didn’t get much done outside.\u00a0 The crappy weather made me glad that I don’t have many goats.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
