\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The power of the internet is absolutely scary yet amazing.\u00a0 This morning, while taking a perch upon some porcelain.\u00a0 I opened a week old High Plains Journal.\u00a0 I had read all of the articles but had yet to study the ads.\u00a0 As I looked over this info-laden, weekly rag an ad caught my eye.\u00a0 Classic Car Auction.\u00a0 Online.\u00a0 OoooHH Snapp!!<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 There are several sale lots that have caught my eye.\u00a0 Some more than others.\u00a0 The cool part is seeing what town and state where each sale item is located.\u00a0 If interested, I google the town and see how close it is to somebody that I know.\u00a0 That’s where it gets scary.\u00a0 Dang neart every item of interest is located within an hour drive of somebody that I know.\u00a0 I did not say “somebody that I absolutely trust”.\u00a0 But, somebody that I know.\u00a0 Anyways, I could make a call and give somebody some cash to go “put their eyes on it” if needed–before I bid.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 If I can do that with old vehicles–El Camino, Mustang, dump truck and even a fire truck–then online livestock buyers should be able to do the same before blindly purchasing a sight unseen animal.\u00a0 However, most don’t make the call.\u00a0 They just get a fuzzy feeling from the picture OR the price tag.\u00a0 Then they go to bidding.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
