{"id":4447,"date":"2021-07-12T03:55:45","date_gmt":"2021-07-12T03:55:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/?p=4447"},"modified":"2021-07-12T03:55:48","modified_gmt":"2021-07-12T03:55:48","slug":"2-n-a-ro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/site\/2-n-a-ro\/","title":{"rendered":"2 N A RO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0First things first.\u00a0 \u00a0Toltrazuril works BUT it needs to be at 1cc per 18 lb.\u00a0 I doctored some 50lb goats with 3ccs.\u00a0 That math works out.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 One of the best vehicles ever made is the 2015 Chevrolet High Country 3\/4 ton Duramax pickup.\u00a0 I have one of those.\u00a0 It is bad donkey!\u00a0 \u00a0Rides as smooth as ice cream melts and yet it pulls like a team of mules on crack.\u00a0 If anybody needs a slightly used tailgate, let me know.\u00a0 I have one.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t ask questions.\u00a0 Yes, there is a story.\u00a0 Just not tonight.\u00a0 \u00a0And on that note, if you happen to have a bed and a rear bumper for a 3\/4 ton High Country, I might know a guy that is in the market.\u00a0 Or a bale bed.\u00a0 Not sure who to blame this deal on BUT it isn&#8217;t Duke&#8217;s fault.\u00a0 DAMN!!!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Our garden is exploding.\u00a0 Large amounts of squash, zucchini, cucumbers and okra.\u00a0 Taters are close and the corn isn&#8217;t far off.\u00a0 I burnt my nose hair when I walked into the kitchen today and Tammy was making pickles.\u00a0 WOW!! Those pickling spices are wicked stout!!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I&#8217;m pretty much a carnivore.\u00a0 MEATSSS&#8230;&#8230;YESSSS!!!\u00a0 \u00a0I also eat LOTS of taters, beans, corn and HUGE amounts of pickles.\u00a0 Greens&#8230;&#8230;on occasion.\u00a0 And on those occasions, I might order a salad and then eat some cooked carrots on the side of the meal.\u00a0 Some judgmental bastards might question my eating habits.\u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s simple.\u00a0 Kind of like a dog needs to eat some grass from time to time, as do I.\u00a0 However, if you see me dragging my ass across the lawn like a wormy dog&#8230;..just walk away.\u00a0 And look the other way.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Speaking of veggies and feeding the world&#8230;&#8230;.Yes, I am growing squash, zucchini and various varieties of cucumbers in the garden.\u00a0 I plant, weed, water, grow and Tammy then collects the harvest.\u00a0 My question&#8230;&#8230;How come we have hungry people in the world when all we need is 12 or so squash plants and a baker&#8217;s dozen zucchini plants and we can feed 4 counties for a couple of months?\u00a0 \u00a0 I get it that they take water.\u00a0 But damn, these things stay fresh on the counter top for WEEKS!\u00a0 And now, I have a blueberry\/lemon\/zucchini cake with lemon zest frosting sitting on my counter.\u00a0 \u00a0It don&#8217;t smell right.\u00a0 People, I like me some blueberry and some lemon.\u00a0 And I dang sure like them together.\u00a0 The term lemon zest kind of excites me.\u00a0 I would gladly buy some blueberry\/lemon flavored&#8230;&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>Yet, I&#8217;m scared of this concoction.\u00a0 It smells like a bucket of ass.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 This is why they have trouble trapping feral hogs.\u00a0 They use the same bait, only different.\u00a0 Back in the 70&#8217;s and 80&#8217;s, my mom would try to trap me into eating zucchini by making zucchini bread, zucchini casserole, fried zucchini, etc., etc.,&#8230;..\u00a0 \u00a0 I still don&#8217;t want to eat that stuff.\u00a0 I love fresh bread and lots of fried stuff.\u00a0 \u00a0You can cover it with blueberries, lemons, lemon zest and have a smoking hot model and I am still OUT on that stuff!!!!\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Hunh?\u00a0 I guess that I have been fortunate enough to never be that hungry.\u00a0 Yes, you would be correct.\u00a0 However, I am also sure that there have been some religious martyrs that were like &#8220;Well, since we have these zucchini and nothing else, I will just go on a hunger strike and pray A lot!\u00a0 And there were a large number of people that agreed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I apologize to anybody that is truly hungry.\u00a0 I will gladly do my part to send fresh veggies and taters.
