I’ve had plenty of people reach out to me about what equipment we will be selling.\u00a0 Honest answer.\u00a0 I don’t know and I’m not going to think about it until I don’t have goats around here.\u00a0 I’m sure that there will be some creep feeders and feed troughs.\u00a0 Maybe some round bale feeders and maybe some square bale feeders.\u00a0 Maybe I’ll sell the semen tank but then I would still need one for cattle juice.<\/p>\n
Clipping stands…maybe.\u00a0 Maybe not.\u00a0 Clippers, no, well maybe.\u00a0 Because I’ve got a lot of different clippers and blades.\u00a0 Then again, if I’ve got that many clippers, I probably need to part with some.\u00a0 Kidding pens…sure, probably.\u00a0 Horn burners, burning boxes, show boxes, trailers and such….yep.<\/p>\n
Scales–probably should.\u00a0 I think every show family needs a set of scales.\u00a0 However, we don’t show anymore and we have 2 sets of scales.\u00a0 I could probably part with a set.\u00a0 I think I will.\u00a0 Although, I do occasionally weigh myself.<\/p>\n
Popper—NO.\u00a0 I use it for multiple things for myself.\u00a0 And I use it in the ag pickup.\u00a0 Neighbors borrow it.\u00a0 Can’t replace it.<\/p>\n
Blowers—-there are a pair of Sullivan blowers.\u00a0 Both–definitely NOT!\u00a0 \u00a0One of them–maybe.\u00a0 Blowers are great to use to clean out grain drill boxes.\u00a0 Blow out air filters.\u00a0 Clean shop floors.\u00a0 Blow out spider webs in barn corners.\u00a0 Get done brush beating and you can blow all the grass off the top of the beater.\u00a0 And after tonight, blow dry newborn calves.\u00a0 Too many uses and new ones cost too much.<\/p>\n
And I dang sure am not getting rid of my red “show box” bucket that I won at an NRA drawing.\u00a0 Too many miles and memories with that bucket.<\/p>\n
It’s butt-ass cold here.\u00a0 And sounds like it will get worse.\u00a0 I’m glad that I don’t live north of here.\u00a0 I put straw bales down in all of the barns and huts.\u00a0 Especially with the bucks.\u00a0 That way they don’t freeze their nuts to the ground.<\/p>\n
