I have always considered myself more of a do-it-now-kind-of-person than a \u2026.well\u2026. a thinker. \u00a0But, lately (since the 2016 presidential election), I have changed to a thinker. \u00a0Along with that, I have reverted back to my days of reading more. \u00a0I think that this is a positive as I find myself not wanting to immediately force-choke people. (if only this was an actual thing)<\/p>\n
I hated clinton’s regime. \u00a0I liked GW Bush’s patriotism. \u00a0I CANNOT say a good thing about your president obama’s time in office. \u00a0(Time will prove me right on that counterfeit sack of monkey dung). \u00a0I have remained skeptical of Trump but I have liked his policies and the fact that he acted like the leader of THE United States of America. \u00a0I do, however, wish that he would stay off of twitter.<\/p>\n
But, as I look back, then look to now, what exactly is taking place?<\/p>\n
None of us trust the media, yet a bunch of you listen to it.<\/p>\n
None of us trust our politicians, yet a bunch of you voted for them. \u00a0NOT ME! \u00a0I voted for losers.<\/p>\n
I use this blog and an occasional book face post. \u00a0I don’t use any other social media. \u00a0You? \u00a0twitter, instagram, snap chat\u2026\u2026..fear the power.<\/p>\n
Really? \u00a0Did the capitol really get over-run? \u00a0Is there really danger for this inauguration? \u00a0I know some crazy SOBs and not one of them has mentioned a need for a problem on this deal? \u00a0Is there a threat? \u00a0Or is this more media crap?<\/p>\n

I don’t know. \u00a0Is our current political system beyond repair? \u00a0IDK for sure. But I think that it will take a major over-haul in order to fix it.<\/p>\n
Are stock shows beyond repair? \u00a0Hard to say. I do know that we need to get out our toolboxes and find a way to fix it. \u00a0There is too much good to come from a good stock show. \u00a0We can’t just let the jocks, dollars, politics and wrong-doings to become common-place. \u00a0We need to remember why we do what we do.<\/p>\n
Clear the slate. \u00a0Reset.<\/p>\n
There are plenty of you in power that read this crap. \u00a0Some even act like it is a new topic. \u00a0Podcasts dealing with “the most taboo issue in the stock show industry–politics” \u00a0BS! \u00a0You un-original bastards! \u00a0If you are going to address it–name names–get after it. \u00a0Grow some balls. \u00a0You’ve got the platform.. use it.<\/p>\n
And the most taboo issue in the stock show industry would be the cheating that involves altering–drugs, airing, injections–u pick it.<\/p>\n
Let’s be real! \u00a0The general public is not aware of any livestock show and they really don’t give a hairy kangaroo nut sack can\/bottle opener ( I have one) about the politics of a given show. \u00a0BUT\u2026\u2026just have a single incidence of tainting meat, altering an animal, inhumane treatment of an animal in doubt\u2026..OH SNAP! \u00a0We will quickly feel the effects of the general public on the stock show industry. \u00a0Stock show politics are ONLY taboo amongst stock show people.<\/p>\n
As much as we want to say that the Stock Show is a way of life, in terms of dollars and % of population involved, we are a niche market–at best. \u00a0When compared to fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, etc. ——stock show dollars don’t even register. \u00a0And the general public identifies rodeo with stock shows. \u00a0Not the same. \u00a0Well, some of the time but not most of the time.<\/p>\n
I am looking forward to Wednesday, January 20, 2021. \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because I have the chance to do right by kids, the general public and hopefully, somebody learns something–them, me, both. \u00a0ALL! \u00a0I hope.<\/p>\n
You don’t have to like me. \u00a0You don’t have to agree with anything that I have to say. \u00a0I just hope you think. \u00a0And then think, I want to fix it. \u00a0Come on!!<\/p>\n
