Months ago, there was a joke amongst some of my friends that Ellis County was covid-free because it was so effing dry that no virus could live out here. \u00a0Well, we got an ice storm 2 weeks ago. \u00a0Ice, snow and rain brought us much needed moisture. \u00a0Guess what blew the eff up since then? \u00a0Yep. \u00a0The rona has found its way to Ellis County. \u00a0Nobody’s life is threatened but there are a lot of sickly people. \u00a0 And to answer your question, no, I have not been tested. \u00a0I’m good. \u00a0Keep on keeping on.<\/p>\n
I have had a hard time recovering from my newest purchase. \u00a0I in no way was planning on buying Duke a brand new pickup. \u00a0But the current used vehicle market is retarded. \u00a0It was literally cheaper to buy him a new pickup. \u00a0Of course, he will soon have something that Kela has never had–vehicle payments.<\/p>\n
Speaking of Kela, she is back to work full-time on The Mandalorian set. \u00a0She has to be tested 3 times per week. \u00a0She is working long hours and thankful to be working those hours.<\/p>\n
Were the Beastie Boys the best at making videos? \u00a0I say that visually, Shania Twain was the best, but yes, the Beastie Boys made some cool videos.<\/p>\n
Back in the mid 90’s, we lived at Waynoka, OK. \u00a0Great place. \u00a0A new energy company opened up a field location there. \u00a0This company was called Chesapeake Energy. \u00a0Tammy went to work for them in 1997. \u00a0She worked there for 15 years. \u00a0She really liked working with that company.<\/p>\n
When they first opened up and were giving out free hats and stuff, I made comment that the logo looked like the logo from Callahan Auto Parts. \u00a0Yes, from the movie Tommy Boy. \u00a0Chesapeake didn’t make brake pads but it wasn’t long until they changed their logo. \u00a0Not sure that I had anything to do with the change.<\/p>\n
After last year, I feel confident in how to breed Next Friday, UZI and the Mandalorian. \u00a0I also have a set of does bred to AI. \u00a0We are currently breeding for April and then May kids. \u00a0I have a lot of time, effort and money tied up into breeding these does. \u00a0Can’t wait.<\/p>\n
1n 2017, I spent a small fortune on limb removal and tree trimming. \u00a0Only 3 years later, and I am once again dealing with limb removal. \u00a0Elm trees are good for a tree trimming business. \u00a0I had everything cleaned up but then Saturday brought 50 PLUS mph winds that removed more limbs from tree tops.<\/p>\n
46 days left in 2020. \u00a0The last 2 weeks haven’t been fun–family with cancer, a friend with cancer, \u00a0a mentor with cancer, friends with covid, a friend with a heart problem that led to a stroke, another friend dead of a heart attack\u2026\u2026I’m good but dang! \u00a0 Tammy and I spend more time laughing at her little Cavapoo dog. \u00a0I don’t like him but he makes us laugh. \u00a0My values seem to have changed during this pandemic.<\/p>\n
I’m ready for a concert.<\/p>\n
Last year, I fed out 4 steers. \u00a0This year, I have 8 on feed. \u00a0I already have 4 spoken for and I have yet to advertise that I am feeding any. \u00a0Maybe the most valuable thing that I have is 9 butcher dates in Feb, March and April. \u00a0Yes, that 9th one is for a pig that I am feeding. \u00a0I like high quality meat.<\/p>\n
