We aren’t the only ones dealing with this weather. \u00a0We needed the moisture and here we go. \u00a0We got half a foot of sleet on monday–thunder sleet. \u00a0Then some snow on Tuesday–thunder snow. \u00a0Then today, it rained–and it thundered. \u00a0It was still below freezing. \u00a0So now…<\/p>\n
Just the other day, I thought to myself, “Kelln, you ought to sell that grapple. \u00a0U haven’t used it much since the ice storm of ’17.”<\/p>\n
Today, as I was pulling limbs off of the electrical lines, I thought “Hey Dumbass! \u00a0Don’t sell that grapple. \u00a0You are getting ready to need it.”<\/p>\n
It is a different feeling stepping onto a glazed-over sleet pack. \u00a0It is slick–therefore, heel first. \u00a0But you know that you are going to break through the glaze if, at first, you don’t slip, so get your toes ready. \u00a0Keep arms up, just for balance. \u00a0I had to have looked like an orangatun as I crossed this sheet of coldness. \u00a0It is raining now, and 34 degrees. \u00a0As long as it doesn’t get colder, we will be fine. \u00a0Otherwise, the shitshow that is 2020 continues. \u00a0And if the wind gets up\u2026\u2026oh snap! \u00a0It isn’t going to be fun. \u00a0BUT at least I don’t have does having babies right now. \u00a0Sucks to be you!<\/p>\n
We were going to put CIDRs into some does. \u00a0But something about inserting a piece of hormone-infused plastic into a goat twat on a wet, frozen day doesn’t seem like fun. \u00a0We will postpone.<\/p>\n
