I was reminded today, when rolling up electric fence with a gas powered fence roller\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.. always keep the 2 wires separated. \u00a0Damn!! \u00a0I was glad nobody was around to see that tangled up POS!!! \u00a0 And I had nobody to blame but myself. \u00a0Yeah, you, Dad. \u00a0 I hope you are getting a laugh reading this crap!!<\/p>\n
I made a road trip on Saturday. \u00a0A little over 750 miles round trip to look at some damn hair sheep wethers. And people, I would make that trip again. \u00a0I don’t care what species it is, I just like looking at good stock. \u00a0You all can figger out where I went. \u00a0They were good, real good and I couldn’t afford anything that would classify in TX. \u00a0So, I went down the road to the Hard 8 BBQ. \u00a0While in line, staring at that open pit bbq, I watched the dude in front of me point to a big damn pork chop. \u00a0Then shake his head yes. \u00a0 The whole social distancing deal meant that I was just far enough away to not hear a thing. \u00a0(That and my age and habit of listening to LOUD music\u2026IDK?) \u00a0 The server then dunked that big damn pork chop in a bat of some buttery substance. \u00a0What was that? \u00a0That’s new to me. \u00a0WTH? \u00a0Six feet, \u00a0my ass!!<\/p>\n
Now, it’s my turn. \u00a0 I’ve seen lots of meats dunked in various sauces. \u00a0But, this one looked different. \u00a0I obviously asked in a bit of an offensive stance. \u00a0\u00a0“Dude, what’s in the bucket?”<\/p>\n
He answers with his hands up. \u00a0“Hey, man. \u00a0It’s a lemon, garlic, butter sauce.”<\/p>\n

And now, like a druggy having a relapse\u2026\u2026”Hit me up with that!”<\/p>\n
RUFSM?! \u00a0A big piece of slow-smoked pork dipped in a lemon, garlic, butter sauce??????? \u00a0 \u00a0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
And I was flying on a solo mission, which meant nothing but water all while reading a sign that says, ” The Hard 8 BBQ sells more Shiner Bock than any place.”<\/p>\n
OOOOOHHHHH DAAAAAMMMMNNNN !!!!!!!<\/p>\n
Where has that been before? \u00a0 \u00a0I didn’t help their Shiner Bock sales, but I also got a piece of jalape\u00f1o sausage for safety reasons. \u00a0But that smoked pork dipped in perfection was unreal. \u00a0 Then, I sat down to eat all of this goodness while bidding on hair sheep. \u00a0I only bid a couple of times. \u00a0If Duke was still showing, I would still be bidding.<\/p>\n

Other than the 6 or 8 best hair wether prospects that I have ever seen, the other cool thing was that in those 750+ miles, I never saw a TX or OK hi-po. \u00a0Not a one. \u00a0As a result, my avg. driving speed was FUN!<\/p>\n

And the BEST thing that I saw this weekend. \u00a0I sent out a group text proclaiming how good my mother did raising me. \u00a0And she also raised a couple of cool sisters. \u00a0(For those of you that don’t know, I only have two brothers!)<\/p>\n

One of these squirrels responded with a video. \u00a0No comments. \u00a0Just a video of a dude wearing a kilt and a black cape and a Darth Vader helmet WHILE playing the bagpipes AND riding a unicycle!!! \u00a0Might be the kuhlest thing ever. \u00a0And I’m left wondering\u2026\u2026.<\/p>\n

Mother’s Day! \u00a0 My brothers and I were blessed with a saintly, wonderful mother that taught us to do right. \u00a0 \u00a0My kids have one of the best mothers ever! \u00a0My wife has a wonderful mother. \u00a0My mom and my dad had wonderful mothers. \u00a0Our nieces & nephews are blessed with awesome mothers. \u00a0THANK YOU!!! \u00a0On behalf of myself, my brothers, my kids and all the others\u2026.THANK YOU!!!<\/p>\n
