{"id":3514,"date":"2020-04-21T03:02:35","date_gmt":"2020-04-21T03:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/?p=3514"},"modified":"2020-04-21T12:36:01","modified_gmt":"2020-04-21T12:36:01","slug":"essential","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/site\/essential\/","title":{"rendered":"Essential?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All of us now have new definitions of what essential actually is?<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, anybody selling ass-wipe, booze, eggs and vegetable plants are dang sure essential. \u00a0Our greenhouse sale has gone really well. \u00a0It&#8217;s crazy how many people are hunting vegetable plants. \u00a0Tammy has been like a non-commission drug dealer. \u00a0She&#8217;s been hunting and gathering plants and then dispersing them to whomever had hollered out a need.<\/p>\n<p>I tilled up garden spots today. \u00a0And, the mail delivered me a box of taters for planting. \u00a0Perfect. \u00a0Getting ready to have plants growing and meat in numerous freezers. \u00a0But what happens if we lose electricity? \u00a0Well, then we will be &#8211;ff-ed. \u00a0The electric companies might be the MOST essential business.<\/p>\n<p>We all love sports. \u00a0I was planning on watching a wicked-group of Shattuck High baseball players this spring. \u00a0 But NOOOO!! \u00a0 ESPN has kept four channels going without showing any live\/current sporting events. \u00a0They are way amped for the nfl draft. \u00a0And this bulls series. \u00a0I haven&#8217;t seen it yet, but I will.<\/p>\n<p>We pay athletes how much? \u00a0And they are doing what now? \u00a0Essential, probably not.<\/p>\n<p>There are so many musicians doing different benefits. \u00a0Country, rock, pop, opera, doesn&#8217;t make a rat&#8217;s ass\u2026..if they have talent, they are doing a wide variety of online benefits. \u00a0They are keeping fans, making new fans and generating dollars for hopefully, worthy causes. \u00a0Although, the air guitar crap that the Rolling Stones did was not essential. \u00a0At least they could have plugged head phones in and actually been hitting drums. \u00a0Who is more essential? \u00a0Athletes or musicians? \u00a0I don&#8217;t need to answer.<\/p>\n<p>Essential&#8211;anybody making adult beverages. \u00a0Also, local butchers are staying swamped. \u00a0We&#8217;ve got a bad-ass grocery store in Shattuck. \u00a0The crew at Venture Foods has kept shelves close to full and NOT price gouged. \u00a0I was a fan of this crew before, but now they are LEGENDARY ESSENTIAL!<\/p>\n<p>None of us can live without petroleum products, but the oil market is in the shitter. \u00a0This ain&#8217;t good for none of us.<\/p>\n<p>In the show stock industry, online marketers have become essential. \u00a0I do know the first people that EVER held an online goat sale (Kela, Tommy, Julie &amp; my dumbass) and I will guarantee you that nobody saw the April of 2020 as being the busiest online livestock marketing month of ALL-time. \u00a0April isn&#8217;t done, but there has been a record amount of online sales this month. \u00a0Watch this trend continue. \u00a0AND it is now apparent who have been holding REAL sales and who have been holding BS deals. \u00a0As for me, I will continue to move product at prices that fit the masses.<\/p>\n<p>Does that make me essential? \u00a0 You bet. \u00a0However, the Dragon Lady may disagree.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All of us now have new definitions of what essential actually is?
