{"id":3482,"date":"2020-04-04T23:38:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-04T23:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/?p=3482"},"modified":"2020-04-04T23:38:22","modified_gmt":"2020-04-04T23:38:22","slug":"wtg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/site\/wtg\/","title":{"rendered":"WTG?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Where to go? \u00a0I don&#8217;t know how to write anything anymore. \u00a0My mind stays whirling, kind of like a limited slip differential in mud. \u00a0One tire is spinning but the other one\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know what to think about how to market show stock in the current climate. \u00a0It&#8217;s going to get better\u2026but when. \u00a0Well photographed hair still seems to sell well in the goat world.<\/p>\n<p>On that note, aren&#8217;t there enough of us that remember glamour shots and how hair, makeup, lighting and camera angles can make one look better than they normally do? \u00a0I don&#8217;t get it. \u00a0The sheep people don&#8217;t even shear these young uns when they photo them. \u00a0Normally in a pen with straw as the footing. \u00a0The hog jocks might only snap one picture with a head up and nothing else, standing in wood chips. \u00a0The cattle jocks, the people that invented all of this clipping, fitting, videoing, and dolling up crap\u2026they don&#8217;t do anything special to get their show stock ready to sell. \u00a0A minute long video of a clipped calf walking across a pen. \u00a0BUT, \u00a0these goat deals have to be glamoured to the hilt. \u00a0Why is that? \u00a0Way To Go goat folks.<\/p>\n<p>I have seen several posts that involve an excerpt from a Dean Koontz book from 1981. \u00a0Supposedly, this dude either knew what was coming, had a great imagination or just wrote a coincidence. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know. \u00a0I haven&#8217;t actually read the book just the excerpts that apply to today.<\/p>\n<p>There is another book from some little known author named Stephen King. \u00a0Yeah, that Stephen King. \u00a0The scary movie kingpin that also had something to do with one of the best damn movies ever&#8211;The Shawshank Redemption. \u00a0Since you all have time, I recommend that you read his book &#8220;The Stand&#8221;. \u00a0Or go find the mini-series on some tv deal. \u00a0It isn&#8217;t specific as to time and virus type but IT will make you think WTF is going on today. \u00a0I actually like a lot of his writings, even though I don&#8217;t like scary crap. \u00a0His stuff makes you think, it ties to real situations and normally involves a religious background while being non-denominational or political. \u00a0Even though one will be thinking about religion and political affiliations. \u00a0Way To Go!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now, Where To Go? \u00a0 How about a joke? \u00a0Kind of clean. \u00a0But, relevant to the times.<\/p>\n<p>A suspected covid-19 patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. \u00a0A young, female nurse student appears and gives him a partial sponge bath.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nurse&#8221;, he mumbles from behind the mask. \u00a0&#8220;Are my testicles black?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, &#8220;I don&#8217;t know. \u00a0Sir, I&#8217;m only here to wash your upper body and feet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He struggles to ask again, &#8220;Nurse, please check for me. \u00a0Are my testicles black?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate from worrying about his testicles, she \u00a0overcomes her embarassement and pulls back the covers.<\/p>\n<p>She raises his gown, holds his manhood in on hand and his testicles gently in the other. \u00a0She looks very closely and says, &#8220;There&#8217;s nothing wrong with them. \u00a0Sir, they look fine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly. \u00a0&#8220;Thank you very much. \u00a0That was wonderful. \u00a0Now listen very closely&#8211; \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Are \u00a0-my- \u00a0-test- \u00a0-results- \u00a0back?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That story does not mean that you should wear a mask HOPING for somebody to misunderstand you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Where to go? \u00a0I don&#8217;t know how to write anything anymore. \u00a0My mind stays whirling, kind of like a limited slip differential in mud. \u00a0One tire is spinning but the other one\u2026.
