{"id":3417,"date":"2020-02-17T03:05:23","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T03:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/?p=3417"},"modified":"2020-02-17T03:30:16","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T03:30:16","slug":"damn-good-tune","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/kellnlivestock.com\/site\/damn-good-tune\/","title":{"rendered":"Damn good tune!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Year round, whenever the Bob Seger &amp; the Silver Bullet Band song called &#8220;The Little Drummer Boy&#8221; hits the playlist, I love it! \u00a0That isn&#8217;t just a Christmas song. \u00a0Pa rum pu pu pum. \u00a0You all know the song &amp; the tune. \u00a0But, take the time, actually stop and listen to the words. \u00a0I don&#8217;t even care if it is the Bob Seger version. \u00a0I just like that one\u2026A LOT! \u00a0 \u00a0Seriously, listen to the words.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I played my drum for him. Pa rum pu pu pum. I played my best for him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Whatever it is that you do, do it to the best of your ability. \u00a0I donate money to various causes BUT, money isn&#8217;t what turns my crank. \u00a0It&#8217;s when I donate my time and effort that I feel like I&#8217;ve played my best for him.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, after Mass, the priest hit me up about a day of rest. \u00a0I told him that a &#8220;Day off&#8221; usually finds me getting in trouble. \u00a0(TRUE) \u00a0I then allowed how &#8220;We&#8217;ve got deadlines.&#8221; In all honesty, my desired church is a shop with kids working, \u00a0a barn with students working animals or a gator in the middle of cows. \u00a0No tv or social media, just some tunes playing while working.
