Ozzy & Lita, Tom Petty & Stevie Nicks, George & Tammy, Kenny Chesney & Jimmy Buffett all made some classic duets.<\/p>\n
13.–“Endless Love”–Diana Ross & Lionel Richie<\/p>\n
A couple of heavyweights that made a classic tune when they put their voices together.<\/p>\n
12.–“Under Pressure”–Queen & David Bowie<\/p>\n
Catchy song that Vanilla Ice took the beat & music and made into a huge hit. \u00a0This one has held up well.<\/p>\n
11.–“Does He Love You”–Reba McEntire & Linda Davis<\/p>\n
Tammy would have this one as #1. \u00a0She loves this song. \u00a0I like it a lot.<\/p>\n
10.–“(I’ve had) The Time of My Life”–Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes<\/p>\n
Aaahh yeah! \u00a0A little ditty from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. \u00a0Really good movie that this song punctuated. \u00a0This song is bigger than either artist.<\/p>\n
9.–“Pancho & Lefty”–Willie Nelson & Merle Haggard<\/p>\n
Great story sung by great story tellers. \u00a0Cool back story behind the making of this song.<\/p>\n
8.–“I Got You Babe”–Sonny & Cher<\/p>\n
I wouldn’t argue if you wanted to move this one up higher. \u00a0Cheesy, classic song.<\/p>\n
7.–“To All the Girls (I’ve loved before)”–Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias<\/p>\n
Contrasting styles & voices but this song works.<\/p>\n
6.–“You’re the One that I Want”–John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John<\/p>\n
Great, great song from a timeless musical movie. \u00a0And the visuals of Oliva Newton-John in that leather. \u00a0OOOHHHH!!! The movie and this song have held up.<\/p>\n
5.–“Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man”–Loretta Lynn & Conway Twitty<\/p>\n
Two legends that had a lot of great duets–this one is their best. \u00a0Great, classic country song.<\/p>\n
4–“Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys”–Waylon & Willie<\/p>\n
Iconic.<\/p>\n
3.–“Ebony & Ivory”–Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder<\/p>\n
Two music legends bring us a great tune that has several underlying features. \u00a0Race, equality, etc. \u00a0But, every time I hear this version, I think of another. \u00a0This song is so good, it makes the list twice.<\/p>\n
2.–“Ebony & Ivory”–Frank Sinatra & Stevie Wonder \u00a0 (Joe Piscopo & Eddie Murphy)<\/p>\n
SNL jumped all over the underlying features to make this remake. \u00a0Scarily–the actors absolutely killed both roles.<\/p>\n
The lyrics–Stevie–“I am dark and you are light.” \u00a0Frank–“You are blind as a bat and I have sight. \u00a0Side by side you are my amigo, negro. \u00a0Let’s not fight.” \u00a0Politically correct–NO. \u00a0Hilarious–YES. \u00a0But even with all of the satire, they still keep true to the roots of the original song. \u00a0Peachy keen.<\/p>\n
#1.–“Islands in the Stream”–Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton<\/p>\n
This one wins this class easily. \u00a0I love the Gambler’s music and I love me some Dolly. \u00a0Put the two together and this is one of the most iconic songs of all time. \u00a0Everybody sings along with this ditty.<\/p>\n

I haven’t shaved in over a week. \u00a0I am currently in that “itch” stage. \u00a0I also haven’t had a hair cut since October 4. \u00a0 \u00a0Why? \u00a0I haven’t had time when they had time. \u00a0I also haven’t made time. \u00a0As a result, I need to trim nose hair, ear hair, eye brows, neck hair, hair on head and on face. \u00a0But, at least I still have hair.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
