Sunday found me in OKC. \u00a0Monday in Tulsa. \u00a0Tuesday in Enid. \u00a0I was a bit road weary. \u00a0A \u00a0buddy of mine had mentioned watching the PBS documentary about Country Music. \u00a0Tuesday night, at midnight, I saw that episode 7 of 8 was airing. \u00a0I stayed up till 2:30am to watch it. \u00a0It was so, so good. \u00a0I like Dolly.<\/p>\n
Tonight, I finished pulling CIDRs and doing the day2day chores so that I could watch this final episode. \u00a0I told Tammy not to cook.<\/p>\n
Now I am pissed! \u00a0It was good but if you are going to cover country music from 83 to 96 there better be a pile of George Strait. \u00a0They spent more time on Vince Gill than Keith Whitley. \u00a0Only mentioned Shania Twain.<\/p>\n
Not enough George. \u00a0I like Garth but I bet he watched this and said, “Ms. Yearwood, they should have put more KING George Strait into this tv flick.”<\/p>\n
No matter. \u00a0It is still a good watch. The real problem that I had with these flicks. \u00a0It is on PBS, so no commercials. \u00a0But, some of us are now at an age, where a well placed commercial break helps the bladder. \u00a0Not on PBS–no breaks–and it is hard to guess where to take a piss break.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
