It is a known fact that I don’t spend a lot of time asleep. \u00a0Three to five hours a night is good for me. \u00a0Until I get tired and then, once a month, I will crash from 9 pm to 4 am. \u00a0It is also a known fact that I don’t spend a lot of time watching the news. \u00a0Why? \u00a0I don’t care what the traffic is like in OKC. \u00a0The weather normally doesn’t apply to NW OK. \u00a0I can watch some ESPN and get all the sports I need. \u00a0Fox or cnn\u2026no, they can’t keep the politics in the middle. \u00a0One leans hard one way and the other is the polar opposite.<\/p>\n
However, I do spend a lot of time reading various things about a variety of factors that influence markets, economies and policies that can affect an average dude like myself. \u00a0Basically, I have read a lot of horror stories. \u00a0Over the past 10 or 12 years, these stories have gotten scarier.<\/p>\n
I did not like your previous president. \u00a0I didn’t like anything about him. \u00a0He was a counterfeit, a liar, had no experience to allow him to do that job properly and I never trusted him. \u00a0I still stand by that. \u00a0And history will prove me right.<\/p>\n
I also did not like the clinton regime. \u00a0Personally, I fear for our country, if we ever find out all of the truths of those people. \u00a0I am not the only that didn’t trust them. \u00a0There is a reason that she didn’t win.<\/p>\n
I spend very little time telling anybody that the Trumpster is the greatest POTUS ever. \u00a0He may be. \u00a0Probably not. \u00a0But he is not the problem. \u00a0This divide between left and right is not healthy. \u00a0One side doesn’t care about facts, history or common sense. \u00a0The other side simply doesn’t care about the other side. \u00a0Right or left. \u00a0Red or blue. \u00a0Wrong or right.<\/p>\n
I do think that Trump is trying to do his job. \u00a0 I do wish all parties would just do their jobs. \u00a0I do NOT like that pelosi thing (can you get a shot for that disease?) \u00a0Probably not. \u00a0How do some of these districts elect these people. \u00a0Then I realize, they think that they are doing right.<\/p>\n
I have a favorite daughter that lives in one of the three worst places in the U.S. of A. \u00a0California is one of our absolute greatest states. \u00a0HUGE agricultural producing state with immense diversity and quality. \u00a0California is one of the best ag producing regions of the WORLD. \u00a0But that cancer called LA is a problem. \u00a0They are the squeaky wheel that gets the attention (along with nyc and that crap-hole called chicago. \u00a0I have not been to nyc. \u00a0I like the state of Illinois but we could do without chicago–especially the cubs. \u00a0Just kidding. Kind of. \u00a0we can keep the cubs.)<\/p>\n
Has she turned–no. \u00a0But I can tell that she feels it. \u00a0She is more cognizant of issues that are still common-place jokes in this part of the world. \u00a0My day2day mouth would cause me problems in la. \u00a0It shouldn’t. \u00a0I treat all people equal. I’ve had numerous conversations with other parents that have kids that left the midwest to chase their dreams. \u00a0In the end, all you can do is hope that you did your job as a parent.<\/p>\n
This morning, I was hungry enough to eat\u2026\u2026let’s stop there. \u00a0Something about a skunk and \u2026..alright. \u00a0I was hungry. \u00a0So, I pulled into the local cafe. \u00a0I had NEVER eaten breakfast there. \u00a0Why? \u00a0It hasn’t fit my schedule and it was only the last year or so that they started to serve breakfast. \u00a0Well, it was good. \u00a0And I was the only patron under 50. \u00a0Keep that in mind.<\/p>\n
Enough of the food report. \u00a0Anyways… while there, the morning regulars were watching the news and discussing all topics that came up. \u00a0Some black mail of some dude named Bezos. \u00a0They didn’t know who he was, just that he was worth a pile. \u00a0That pelosi looks like\u2026. \u00a0 Well, that stupid son-of-a–. \u00a0And then, somebody brought up a talk show host named ellen.<\/p>\n
I then learned a new term. \u00a0One of the all time unique Shattuck personas said, “I came home the other day and my wife was watching that ellen chick. \u00a0I told her that we ain’t watching that snicker licker<\/em> in my house.”<\/p>\n Forevermore, when I see a snickers candy bar, I will remember that.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I am not racist. \u00a0I dislike a lazy, drugged up, lying POS person–male or female, no matter the race, sexuality, political affiliation or religion. \u00a0I will gladly pay taxes when that money is used properly. \u00a0Anybody that knows me, knows that I will deal with you exactly as I see you. \u00a0In my world, a spade is a spade. \u00a0Wait?! Should that have been a shovel is a shovel. \u00a0 \u00a0It is horrible that one has to consider if that statement was proper. \u00a0Jeeminy.<\/span><\/p>\n I do not think that a wall will fix all of our problems. \u00a0I do think that it will help alleviate some issues. \u00a0I do think that we need the electoral college. \u00a0This might prove to be one of the smartest things that the founding fathers developed. \u00a0Just look at the representation that you people have elected from la, chicago and nyc. \u00a0It is mind boggling.<\/p>\n We will now break for some real first-world kind of problems. \u00a0It was 1 degree this morning. \u00a0Yes, ONE, UNO, EINS. \u00a0It was 5 when I left the house. \u00a03 when I went through Gage. \u00a0But then it dropped to 1 as the sun was coming up. \u00a0But, at least it wasn’t windy. \u00a0As I sit here tapping this keyboard, I made a decision. \u00a0It is Friday night and I ain’t going anywhere tonight. \u00a0I think that I will have me a frosty beverage. \u00a0So, I braved the elements and stepped out onto the carport to get a cold one from the fridge. \u00a0Guess what? \u00a0The cold ones that were inside the fridge were like Elsa. \u00a0 FROZEN! \u00a0 WTH? \u00a0They froze inside the fridge!<\/p>\n And to continue our real first-world kind of problems section. \u00a0As I am typing this crap, I have received a text requesting that Bob Seelke be a guest blog writer. \u00a0NOOOOOO! \u00a0 Not happening. \u00a0I like Jodi too much to let that happen. \u00a0But\u2026 but\u2026. if it were to happen, all barriers would be broken.<\/p>\n Let’s clean this political mess up. \u00a0We, the people, still have a say when it comes to vote. \u00a0Clean it up. \u00a0Make your town, your state and America great. \u00a0Not again. \u00a0Just make it great.
