We’ve raised one kid. \u00a0And, at times, I wonder if I\/he\/we will survive this next one. \u00a0He’s not a bad kid. \u00a0He’s a good kid that has his head buried in his ass. \u00a0It is so deep that he doesn’t know how to fix it. \u00a0I’m sick of paying deductibles, gas bills and stuff not getting done right. \u00a0And no, I have not used the word dang very much lately.<\/p>\n
I have been reminded of a Jerry Clower story quite a bit lately. \u00a0Brief version–Jerry and his relatives were hunting raccoons. \u00a0One of them ended up climbing a tree to knock a coon out. \u00a0Except, it wasn’t a raccoon. \u00a0It was \u00a0bobcat. \u00a0The guy and the cat were fighting up in the tree. \u00a0He hollered down, “Shoot it!” \u00a0 His kin yelled back, “But we might hit you instead of the cat!” \u00a0He yelled back, “Just shoot up in here amongst us. \u00a0You will surely hit one or the other. \u00a0One of us has got to have some relief.” \u00a0I’m to that point.<\/p>\n
But dang it. \u00a0I ended this evening watching a re-run concert (NO politics) of a tribute to Johnny Cash. \u00a0They ended it with The Highwaymen, or what’s left of them, playing “the highwaymen”. \u00a0What could be cooler than being on stage, playing with Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson. \u00a0Well, being Shooter Jennings and playing your dad’s part. \u00a0What could be cooler than cool? \u00a0Jamey Johnson playing on a stage with Willie, Kris, Waylon’s son and getting to play Johnny Cash’ part at the tribute to Johnny Cash.<\/p>\n
Sometimes, a good song with a bit of chill on the rocks can help the dang go away. \u00a0That and don’t let that dang 17 year old mental midget near me till tomorrow. \u00a0DANG!!<\/p>\n
DANG!!! The power went off last night as I was trying to hit the publish button. \u00a0The WIND, the DANG wind went to howling and then and then it started raining. \u00a0It actually rained almost an inch! \u00a0Finally. \u00a0Dang! I spent the morning dumping water out of troughs and feed pans. \u00a0I was actually in a good mood about it. \u00a0Now, I get to spend time in a tractor. \u00a0And since it rained, in a day or two, I will get to doctor little goats with the shits. \u00a0Dang!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
