I saw one of those memes with a picture of a baboon and the words “Common sense is not a gift, it’s punishment. \u00a0Because you have to deal with everyone who doesn’t have it.” \u00a0I thought the baboon was appropriate. \u00a0I especially liked how his hair slowly blew in the breeze, kind of like some slo-mo commercial with some dang celebrity.<\/p>\n
We recently had to buy a new fridge. \u00a0The last one did not last as long as I thought it should have. \u00a0We bought it in 2008. \u00a0It crapped the bed in 2009 (while under warranty) and had to be worked on. \u00a0Which was a pain in the ass. \u00a0I didn’t want that fridge and I never liked it. \u00a0It had a bottom freezer. \u00a0I hated it. \u00a0I especially hated it when we moved. \u00a0It had 3 doors to take off plus I had to deal with that sliding bottom freezer drawer. \u00a0 It was a Kenmore which at some point in time was a name brand associated with quality. \u00a0When I opened that bottom drawer, I often thought of one of my favorite movies–Bull Durham. \u00a0The line was delivered by Robert Wuhl. \u00a0“Sears sucks, Crash. \u00a0I once worked there. \u00a0Sold Lady Kenmores.”<\/p>\n
I like that movie a lot. \u00a0In fact, my brother Jake and I once owned a bull that we called Bull Durham. \u00a0He was an Ice Pick x Pistol Pete. \u00a0He sired breed champion steers and heifers at Enid and Woodward District Shows. \u00a0And he sired several class winning heifers and steers at OYE and Houston. \u00a0There are promotable bulls that didn’t sire as well as that guy did.<\/p>\n
And now, we have a new Side by Side fridge. \u00a0Nothing fancy. \u00a0Just cold and easy to deal with.<\/p>\n

Name me two other great movies that Robert Wuhl played in\u2026\u2026..(feel free to hum the Jeopardy tune) \u00a0 Another great movie called “Good Morning Vietnam” \u00a0and he also played in the 1989 Batman.<\/p>\n

Stock is all tended. \u00a0The wind is cranked up. \u00a0The temps are dropping. \u00a0If the freeze earlier this week didn’t kill the sand plums then this one is going to. \u00a0I’m glad that I haven’t planted the garden yet.<\/p>\n
