She was just a tick over 10 years old. \u00a0She had a good run. \u00a0She may not have been the best but she was better than most. \u00a0And she wasn&#8217;t a fighter or a destroyer of panels. \u00a0Now, you better have your A game when it was time to catch her. \u00a0But once you snagged a horn, she wasn&#8217;t bad to deal with. \u00a0Time finally caught her.<\/p>\n<p>I know that we are nearing the end with another one. \u00a0Joe Dirt still has some molars left. \u00a0His health is good but he has aged fast this summer. \u00a0He has probably bred his last doe. \u00a0That dude ain&#8217;t never cost me any grief. \u00a0He&#8217;s just made good livestock. \u00a0Time gets all of us. It happens.<\/p>\n<p>We had planned on taking a wether to the OYE sale. \u00a0Duke got him sheared off on Friday night. \u00a0I knew that he was good but he sheared off real good. \u00a0Duke and I talked about just keeping him. \u00a0We decided to wait until Saturday AM to make up our minds. \u00a0On Saturday morning, we had the Dragon Lady give her opinion. \u00a0She allowed that we were idiots to sell one like that. \u00a0So, we just decided to keep that wether. \u00a0Instead of going to that sale, Tammy and I delivered a bull. \u00a0Productive day that didn&#8217;t cost me much money.<\/p>\n<p>Woke up to a bit of rain this morning. \u00a0Just a 1\/4&#8243; but we will take it. \u00a0Have a good one.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I knew that the days were numbered. \u00a0Saturday, it became apparent that we were talking single digit days. \u00a0The old K9 doe has been fading fast. \u00a0And now, it is done.
