What? \u00a0July 12 isn’t a holiday. \u00a0Well hell! \u00a0It ought to be one. \u00a0I had a great day.<\/p>\n

I listened to Christmas music in July. \u00a0Why? \u00a0It came on the iTunes shuffle and it was Mariah Carey and it sounded good and I like it and I let it play and it was the song, not the video. \u00a0You should do the same.<\/p>\n
I had to go to OKC early this day. \u00a0For a Dr. appointment. \u00a0Not mine. \u00a0But I had to drive home. \u00a0The medical deal was top shelf. \u00a0They acted like they actually wanted to be a help. \u00a0Class act organization.<\/p>\n
So, while sitting there, waiting, I searched some musical acts that I have been digging for a bit. \u00a0Volbeat was one of the bands that have piqued my interest. \u00a0They have had some cool tunes on the radio for the past year or three. \u00a0So, if they have had a radio song, then they probably have a good catalog that didn’t make the radio for \u00a03-5 years. \u00a0Guess what? \u00a0These dudes are wicked! \u00a0Harmonicas, banjos and BIG, BIG guitars with vocals that you can understand and they can bring it. \u00a0I mean bring it!<\/p>\n
I like finishing tasks. \u00a0I get a rush out of scratching the line off of a sticky note as DONE! \u00a0Earlier this year, the wind was EFFING WICKED! \u00a0It was the night that the big fires started (my problems are small, compared to others). \u00a0The backyard fence blew down. \u00a0Duke set metal posts and welded the frame. \u00a0Then we screwed individual boards to the frame. \u00a0It ain’t done, but it is really close to being done. \u00a0Brandon the Bruce asked me how it looked. \u00a0I replied, “If you are drunk or blind, then this is one good looking fence.” \u00a0Otherwise, pick a four letter word. \u00a0Haaaa!!! \u00a0Not that four letter word.<\/p>\n
While driving home from OKC, I rolled a lot of stuff through my brain. \u00a0I like good tunes, good livestock, good fun, hard work and accomplishing goals. \u00a0Tammy and I have identical goals and none of them involve money. \u00a0I like our kids a lot. \u00a0But, she REALLY likes them!<\/p>\n
I constantly question my involvement in the stock show game. \u00a0Personally, I would like to limp away and leave this goat game to the ass clowns and cheaters. \u00a0But, every time I have doubts, kids show me the path. \u00a0The stock show game is great. \u00a0Adults EFF it up! \u00a0As a whole, the kids get it.<\/p>\n
Here’s to a holiday that ain’t a holiday. \u00a0If you are about improving the stock and raising kids, I cheer you. \u00a0If you are just about the wins and the dollars, I’ve got a list of words for you. \u00a0Some are four letters, while others require a finger. \u00a0Maybe one, maybe two.<\/p>\n
Turn up the tunes! \u00a0 Be thankful for what you have. \u00a0Shamrocks and horseshoes to all of you\u2026except for a couple of ya.<\/p>\n
