I didn’t accomplish much at all this weekend\u2026.and I liked it. \u00a0It was awesome! \u00a0 \u00a0Saturday saw the Kester’s here picking up their buck. \u00a0I expect big things from this dude. \u00a0They are working on raising some good goats.<\/p>\n
I ate blueberry pancakes Saturday morning at the Polly Anna in Woodward. \u00a0And then again on Sunday morning cooked by the Dragon Lady. \u00a0Eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage and blueberry pancakes. \u00a0I think that I need to write a song about the joys of eating breakfast foods. \u00a0Did I mention that I like blueberry pancakes?<\/p>\n
Sunday afternoon saw the Schovanec males show up here. \u00a0That family has had more than their share of trials and tribulations but they are keeping it together. \u00a0It was obvious that TravASS hasn’t gotten out much in the past year, so we just had fun. \u00a0Not too much, but a lot of laughs. \u00a0Ha! \u00a0That chicken!<\/p>\n
When was the last time that you put your tongue on a 9 volt battery? \u00a0I haven’t in a long time but for some reason, I thought about it today.<\/p>\n
I know that I was whining about too much rain back in April and May. \u00a0Then it got dry. \u00a0Guess what? \u00a0We got a butt-load of wind and a bit of rain tonight. \u00a0The summer cover crop is up and was a lot like me\u2026.wanting a drink. \u00a0Well, it got one. \u00a0Now I get to pay for some fertilizer. \u00a0The expenses are never-ending around here.<\/p>\n
Strawberry fungus on goats. \u00a0I only see a few cases per year. \u00a0Most vets will hook you up with a round of antibiotics and some vetricin and a big bill. \u00a0Just get some kopertox and apply to those spots between their toes. \u00a0Might take two applications over a week’s time and that crap will disappear. \u00a0Just wear gloves or you will have green fingers for a week or so and look like some kind of leprechaun. \u00a0Don’t taste the kopertox as it is NOT magically delicious.<\/p>\n
I went to the Dollar General to buy some toothpaste this morning. \u00a0I found what I was looking for and then headed down the toy aisle. \u00a0Holy crap! \u00a0They had some wicked cool Star Wars action figures. \u00a0So, I bought a Yoda and a Darth Vader. \u00a0These mini figures are pretty cool. \u00a0I can tell you this much, \u00a0if I am ever too old to buy some Star Wars action figures\u2026.well, hell! \u00a0I’m better off dead because I’m not ever going to be too old to have a toy or two. \u00a0I’m already thinking about when the nieces and nephew come to the house and want to play with them.<\/p>\n
I’m not sure who leads the funnest life–Kela or Duke. \u00a0She is farting off in D.C. \u00a0Nationals game, paddle boating on the Potomac, etc. \u00a0Duke–he’s been blowing up fireworks, fishing and is now in NE OK bow fishing with friends. \u00a0Me—I’m stuck here, doing chores, eating fresh cantaloupe and some Katy Frazier brand crackers. \u00a0But, I got to talk to several former students this evening. \u00a0Well hell! \u00a0Looks like I’m the big winner.<\/p>\n
I’ve been thinking that I need to make an air freshener that smells like ripe cantaloupe.<\/p>\n
