Supply and Shattuck. \u00a0Arnett beat Fargo in the first game. \u00a0One of the Arnett boys slapped Mr. Spake on the back and said, &#8220;Good job, coach. \u00a0That&#8217;s one more win than we had ALL basketball season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We had a couple of bad asses that didn&#8217;t want to be ridden. \u00a0Several of the boys got thrown, but eventually rode that donkey. \u00a0Duke was mad that he didn&#8217;t get a try on that one. \u00a0I was just glad that we didn&#8217;t have to haul his ass to the hospital. \u00a0The Armenian foreign-exchange student wanted to try to ride the bucking\/kicking donkey. \u00a0We kept her on a milder, smaller donkey. \u00a0Sometimes you just had to get off and drag your ass across the court. \u00a0Congrats to Ft. Supply for winning the tournament. \u00a0They kicked ass!<\/p>\n<p>Coach Kornele, Coach Spake and I were discussing stock shows and we all agreed that hauling asses around to play basketball would be a way worse job.<\/p>\n<p>Although this isn&#8217;t normally what I would want to be doing, it was a fun experience that involved a wide variety of kids. \u00a0It also got kids from each chapter to interact and therefore, will give them a talking point as they mature and cross paths in the future. \u00a0We can lose sight at times, but in the end this is what we are supposed to be doing. \u00a0Getting kids ready for the future so that they don&#8217;t get their asses kicked! \u00a0I&#8217;m done.<\/p>\n<p>Have a good one and a better tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight, I had to attend a donkey basketball event. \u00a0Fargo Ag Boosters hosted a donkey basketball tournament with competing teams from Arnett, Fargo, Ft.
