Looks like Dirty Rain is siring some sellable kids for J&J. \u00a0I have some Dirty Rain daughters that will kid later in the spring. \u00a0I’m looking forward to that. \u00a0I didn’t get many wether\/buck kids out of him his first year but I loved the doe kids. \u00a0I never took a pic of Dirty Rain when he was younger as had an injury. \u00a0I sold 1\/2 to J&J because I knew that they would get him mated right, have those kids presented excellent and then hopefully the \u00a0offspring will hit a lick. \u00a0So far, it looks like I was right.<\/p>\n
Oh, yeah. \u00a0They also sold a Joe Dirt kid or two. \u00a0They can sell some goats. \u00a0Dirt got to do some traveling this past summer and fall. \u00a0He may be old but he is getting the chance to go out in style. \u00a0Several herds will be keeping Joe Dirt daughters.<\/p>\n
Best in Show—the champion at the Westminster Dog Show was a German Shepard named Rumour. \u00a0He was named after the Rumour Has It song by Adele. \u00a0I like that name. \u00a0Just wish I still had the buck. \u00a0If you don’t want to lose a great one then don’t own livestock because it is going to happen.<\/p>\n
County show is over. \u00a0Proficiency awards are headed to Stillwater today. \u00a0Plants come in for the greenhouse. \u00a0Shop projects getting done. \u00a0OYE online entries due this week. \u00a0Welding Rodeo on Friday. \u00a0Speeches getting memorized. \u00a0Some still need written. \u00a0Waiting on a couple of does to finally kid. \u00a0And we got 1\/2 inch of rain. \u00a0Might have to drill some oats. \u00a0Hopefully the lights are working on the tractor. \u00a0Just a day in the life.<\/p>\n
