Shattuck has always had the mascot–Indians. It’s a fitting name. I watch the news and see the continued protests about the Atlanta Braves or Washington Redskins. Some think that they’re mascots are not Politcally Correct. Your federal government officially objects to the name “Redskins”. However, YOUR federal government has helicopters named “Blackhawk”, “Lakota”, “Apache” and “Kiowa”. They have “Tomahawk” missiles and use the term “Geronimo” as a military code name. But, YOUR government finds the term “Redskins” offensive for use as a football team. <\/p>\n
