It was not uncommon for our eldest offspring to win some outstanding student awards and make some honor rolls for her academic achievements.  Saying that, it’s been a few years since we have seen any of these kind of awards around our house.

But now, the youngest has earned himself a title.  Duke was named as the August student of the month for the High Plains Technology Center.  He likes going to class there and it shows.  He is a 2nd year welding student but he also takes a couple of academic classes while at the tech center.
